🇳🇴 🇫🇷 Awarded an Åsgard Mobility Grant
A mobility grant has been awarded through the Ã…sgard Programme, a France-Norway cooperation initiative managed by the French Institute and the Norwegian Research Council.
The Ã…sgard Programme aims to strengthen scientific exchanges between France and Norway, fostering research cooperation and facilitating the expansion of international professional networks. This five-day visit will provide an opportunity to meet with researchers and innovation sector professionals across several top-ranked Norwegian institutions working on Robotics and Soft-Robotics.
Norway has established itself as a significant contributor to robotics research, particularly in areas related to marine robotics, autonomous systems, and soft robotic technologies. This visit will serve as an opportunity to explore potential collaborations, exchange ideas on current research topics, and assess how Norwegian teams are approaching challenges in soft-robotics — a field closely aligned with my own research interests.
This visit is expected to contribute to building bridges between research communities and to identifying opportunities for future joint projects, student exchanges, or research collaborations.
Many thanks to the Ã…sgard Programme team and the French Institute for making this possible.
On a personal note, this grant carries significance beyond its professional dimension alone. Norway has long held a particular place in my life, and combining this longstanding personal aspiration with meaningful scientific exchanges makes this experience a particularly distinctive one.
