European Funding for Digital Projects Event
An event presenting European funding opportunities for Digital projects, hosted at Centrale Lille, was attended on December 3rd.
The event featured two main components:
-
European calls presentation with a focus on Cluster 4 calls by Serge BODJRENOU, coordinator of the Numeric and Industry NCP - Bpifrance, providing a structured overview of current funding opportunities.
-
A roundtable discussion with testimonies from researchers involved in European projects:
- Elise Berrier, coordinator of the KNOWSITE-X project
- Valeria Loscri, partner of the MLSysOps Project
- Myself, sharing my experience as a partner of the IRE project
The roundtable was moderated by Riheb Cherif, Expert Europe on Digital, Robotics, Electronics, and Djazia Chebrek Bielecki, head of the Pôle Recherche of Centrale Lille.
Individual interviews were also made available to researchers, allowing them to pose specific questions to Lille’s support teams regarding their project proposals.
Sharing my experience with Horizon Europe projects — and discussing the challenges and opportunities associated with submitting European project proposals — proved instructive. Collaborative events of this kind play a significant role in building a stronger research community and in helping researchers navigate the complex landscape of European funding.
Thanks go to Centrale Lille for hosting this event and to Magdalena Salik from the Centre Inria de l’Université de Lille for the invitation.
