🇮🇳 🇫🇷 Visit from IIT Indore — Exploring research and academic cooperation

A delegation from the Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore) visited Polytech Lille on Friday, June 19th, 2026.

The delegation was led by Prof. Suhas S. Joshi, Director of IIT Indore and Professor of Mechanical Engineering, accompanied by Prof. Prabhat Kumar Upadhyay, Dean of International Relations and Professor of Electrical Engineering, and Dr. Kailasham Ramalingam, Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering.

The afternoon session at Polytech Lille opened with institutional presentations from both sides — covering the University of Lille, IIT Indore, and Polytech Lille — followed by a presentation of the UMET laboratory (materials science) and an open discussion on cooperation opportunities in student exchange, joint training programmes, and research.

This visit is a step toward building a structured academic partnership between IIT Indore and Polytech Lille, with prospects spanning engineering, materials science, and computer science.
